Jennifer Thomblison, M.A.
Jennifer brings 15 years of clinical experience to her work with adults, children, and adolescents. She has a warm approach that helps clients of all ages feel at ease.
Her work with adults includes working with a wide variety of problems such as anxiety, depression, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), ADHD, and helping people who are dealing with stressors or adjusting to changes in their lives such as divorce, grief and loss.
Jennifer’s work with children and teens includes the treatment of anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, tic disorders, self-esteem and reducing stress using Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and other approaches. She also conducts psycho-educational assessments to diagnose learning disabilities, ADHD, and other problems that may be interfering with school performance. As a parent of 5, she also brings a special empathy and understanding to her work with parents of children facing significant challenges.
Jennifer joined our practice in 2014 after moving to Canada from the US. Prior experience includes work in the areas of child sexual abuse, developmental disabilities assessment, and rape crisis counselling. Jennifer received her Masters’ degree in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University in Atlanta, Georgia.
