You may prefer group therapy to individual therapy. It allows you, or your child and teen, to obtain support from others with who are dealing with similar difficulties. And, in some ways it may be a more engaging way to learn. Research shows that group therapy can be as effective as individual therapy. Group therapy is also less expensive than individual therapy and therefore affordable for many clients.
